met in 2011 120 years since the carpets were suspended for the first time, a fact that only has happened twice over the whole story: in 1891 and 1897. None
throughout the twentieth century, nor of course in the XXI. So it has much merit to the fact that last year despite the rain, the carpet will strive to push forward with its tapestries. It could have been, and a sad day, a historic day. Thanks to Jose

Brazilian Wax In Nyc Plus Size

Submission tapestry carpet central core of 2011 PHOTO GALLERIES

In 2011, the Corpus Christi in La Orotava is referenced to the image of Jesus and the "XXVI World Day of Youth" that August will bring back the Pope to Spain.

La Cruz who once was given to young people to travel the world, since 2003 comes with the Icon of Mary, Salus Populi Romani express wish of John Paul II that he meant thereby the maternal presence of Mary with the young.

This icon is a reproduction of the original is in the basilica Santa Maria Maggiore, the oldest dedicated to the Virgin in the West. It is a ninth-century Byzantine painting.

With these two premises, the carpet of this year has 6 tapestries important

3 more rectangular tapestries 7 by 8 meters:

These 3 large tapestries is the image of Jesus takes the main importance of this carpet. The image of Jesus we will present three dramatic moments of his life. The tapestry

central image of the crucifixion of Jesus, drawn from the work of Diego Velasquez, 1632. The figure of Jesus on the cross, has a halo of white light that separates it from the bottom of the sunset, to give greater expression of this timeless moment.

In the tapestry of the left, the time chosen is the scourging of Jesus, taken from the work of William-Adolphe Bouguereau, 1880.

In the tapestry of the right, the selected time is piety, extracted from the work of Annibale Carracci, 1600. These two tapestries

sides have in common the same background, is the same background as that of the central carpet but made with flat colors, creating a surreal and abstract sense, this effect is enhanced here, as in the central carpet, with the halo white light surrounding the figures. This is achieved extract images of time and remind us that this was an event that occurred, but it is also a fact that happens all the time, because man has the facility to punish and fight with intensity, unfortunately, but then we are able to rectify and regret with the same intensity.

3 circular rugs under 4 meters in diameter:

tapestries in these 3 circular referred explicitly to the subject of the XXVI World Youth Day 2011.

The left circular tapestry depicting the logo of Madrid 2011 and a landscape of Mount Teide.

The central circular tapestry depicts the Icon of Mary Salus Populi Romani accompanying the cross.

The circular mat on the right shows the cross being placed by young people standing in another cross.

The whole rug

The entire carpet is completed by 12 floral rugs 3 by 4 meters, where in each set is a flower or floral different. All these carpets are united, 6 above and 6 below, bicolor tape that recreates the space of the borders.

addition there are two spaces with a set of flowers occupied areas of the streetlights, we attempt to merge the space with flowers streetlights.

These two floral tapestries complete the 20 total were held in the square, thereby making a nod to the twenty years that this group has been doing this carpet.

The carpet is distinct in three venues, three monoliths that welcome everyone to a greater tapestry and a lower circular, below which are the two areas of illumination and which pass over the carpets of flowers recreate the border.

The team:

Collaborate group of carpet usual, always with high and low potential due to their particular jobs. We use

21 colors.

small team of the municipal school of carpet placed some 45,000 pieces of cane to 10 centimeters along 1,000 linear feet.
